Stitched and Combo Mats for Optimal Performance and Durability
Stitched mat
Description
Stitched mat is produced by uniformly spreading chopped fiberglass strands of a specific length into a fibrous sheet, which is then reinforced by stitching with polyester yarn. Key features include:
- Compatibility: The strands are treated with a silane coupling agent sizing system, ensuring excellent compatibility with unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester, epoxy, and other resin systems.
- Uniformity: The manufacturing process ensures an even distribution of strands throughout the mat.
- Performance: This structure delivers stable and enhanced mechanical properties in the final composite.
Features
1. Uniform GSM and thickness, good integrity, without loose fiber
2.Fast wet-out
3. Good compatibility
4.Easily conforms to mold contours
5.Easy to split
6.Surface aesthetics
7.Good mechanical properties

Combo mat
Description
Fiberglass combo mats are a composite material that integrates two or more distinct types of fiberglass. They are typically combined through methods such as knitting, needling, or chemical binding. This hybrid construction endows them with excellent design flexibility, overall adaptability, and a broad range of potential applications.
Features & benefits
1. Fiberglass complex mats can be tailored through the selection of different base materials and combination processes. This customization enables their adaptation to various manufacturing techniques, including pultrusion, RTM, and vacuum infusion. Furthermore, they exhibit excellent conformability, allowing them to drape effectively over complex mold geometries.
2. It can be tailored to comply with specific strength and appearance criteria.
3. By minimizing pre-mold dressing and tailoring, it streamlines the production process and enhances overall productivity.
4. Optimizes the utilization of both material and labor resources.
