RUGAO, JIANGSU | June 26, 2025 – Jiangsu Jiuding New Material Co., Ltd. (SZSE: 002201) hosted a high-level delegation from the Shanghai Rugao Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday afternoon, strengthening hometown ties amid growing regional economic integration. Led by Chamber President Cui Jianhua and accompanied by Rugao Federation of Industry and Commerce Vice Chairman Fan Yalin, the delegation conducted a thematic research tour titled "Gathering Hometown Bonds, Exploring Enterprise Development, Forging Shared Growth."

Chairman Gu Qingbo personally guided the delegation through a comprehensive immersion experience, beginning with an exhibition of the company’s glass fiber deep-processing achievements at the Product Gallery. The showcase featured advanced applications in renewable energy infrastructure, marine engineering, and electronic substrates. Delegates then viewed the corporate documentary highlighting Jiuding’s evolution from local manufacturer to globally integrated materials solutions provider.

Strategic Exchange Highlights

During the roundtable discussion, Chairman Gu detailed three strategic growth vectors:

1. Vertical Integration: Expanding control over raw material supply chains

2. Green Manufacturing: Implementing ISO 14064-certified production processes

3. Global Market Diversification: Establishing technical service centers in Southeast Asia and Europe

"With China’s fiber-reinforced composites market projected to reach $23.6 billion by 2027," Gu noted, "our patented surface treatment technologies position us to capture high-value segments in wind turbine blades and EV battery enclosures."

Synergistic Opportunities

President Cui Jianhua emphasized the Chamber’s bridging role: "Among our 183 member enterprises in Shanghai, 37 operate in advanced materials and clean technology. This visit crystallizes opportunities for cross-regional industrial synergies." Specific proposals included:

- Joint R&D initiatives leveraging Shanghai’s academic resources (e.g., partnerships with Fudan University’s Materials Science Institute)

- Supply chain integration between Jiu Ding’s specialty fibers and Chamber members’ automotive component production

- Co-investment in recycling infrastructure to meet EU’s impending CBAM carbon regulations

Regional Economic Context

The dialogue occurred against two strategic backdrops:

1. Yangtze Delta Integration: Jiangsu-Shanghai industrial corridors now account for 24% of China’s composite materials output

2. Hometown Entrepreneurship: Rugao-born executives have founded 19 Shanghai-listed tech firms since 2020

Vice Chairman Fan Yalin underscored the visit’s significance: "Such exchanges transform emotional hometown bonds into concrete industrial cooperation. We’re establishing a Rugao Entrepreneur Digital Hub to facilitate ongoing technical matchmaking."

"This isn’t merely nostalgia – it’s about building industrial ecosystems where Rugao’s expertise meets Shanghai’s capital and global reach," concluded President Cui as the delegation departed.
