In response to the national Work Safety Month campaign and further strengthen workplace safety management, Rudong Jiuding Wind Power has recently launched a professional fire fighting skills competition. The activity is designed to popularize professional fire safety knowledge among all staff, consolidate the company’s main responsibility for fire safety, and comprehensively improve employees’ emergency response capabilities when facing sudden fire hazards and other unexpected safety incidents.
Different from traditional theoretical training courses, this competition focuses entirely on practical operation and on-site skill assessment, setting three core practical competition items for participating employees. The items include the standardized wearing of fire protective clothing and positive pressure breathing apparatus, portable fire extinguisher operation and fire putting-out drills, as well as outdoor fire hydrant water outlet and emergency operation exercises. All competition items are closely aligned with the actual fire prevention and disposal needs of wind power workplace operation, covering the most essential and commonly used fire fighting skills in daily safety work.
During the competition, all participating staff actively participated, operated in strict accordance with standard specifications, and completed each assessment item efficiently and accurately. The on-site competition atmosphere was intense and orderly. Through on-site competition and practical exercises, employees effectively corrected irregular operation habits, fully mastered the standard use methods of basic fire-fighting equipment, and greatly improved their proficiency in on-site emergency disposal.
Adhering to the working principle of promoting learning, training and safety through competitions, this activity has effectively consolidated all employees’ awareness of fire safety responsibility, popularized solid fire safety professional knowledge and practical skills. It has further optimized the company’s emergency response capability for sudden fire accidents, eliminated potential safety hazards in advance, and laid a solid and reliable safety foundation for the stable and safe operation of the company’s daily production and management work.
