Jiuding New Material Launches Comprehensive “Safety Production Month” Campaign

Marking the 24th national “Safety Production Month” this June, Jiuding New Material has initiated a robust series of activities centered on the theme “Everyone Speaks Safety, Everyone Can Respond – Identifying Hidden Hazards Around Us.” This campaign aims to reinforce safety accountability, cultivate a culture of universal participation, and build a sustainable foundation for workplace safety.

1. Building a Safety-Conscious Environment

To permeate every level of the organization with safety awareness, Jiuding leverages multi-channel communication. The Jiuding News internal publication, physical safety bulletin boards, departmental WeChat groups, daily pre-shift meetings, and an online safety knowledge competition collectively create an immersive atmosphere, keeping safety at the forefront of daily operations.

2. Strengthening Safety Accountability

Leadership sets the tone with top-down engagement. Company executives spearhead safety talks, emphasizing management’s commitment. All employees participate in structured viewings of the official “Safety Production Month” theme film and accident case studies. These sessions are designed to heighten individual responsibility and sharpen hazard recognition capabilities across all roles.

3. Empowering Proactive Hazard Identification

A cornerstone initiative is the “Hidden Hazard Identification Campaign.” Employees receive targeted training to utilize the ”Yige Anqi Star” digital platform for systematic inspections of machinery, fire safety equipment, and hazardous chemicals. Verified hazards are rewarded and publicly acknowledged, incentivizing vigilance and enhancing organization-wide capabilities in risk detection and mitigation.

4. Accelerating Learning Through Competition

Practical skill development is driven by two flagship events:

- A Fire Safety Skills Competition testing emergency equipment operation and fire response protocols.

- An online ”Spot the Hazard” Knowledge Contest focusing on real-world risk scenarios.

This “competition-driven learning” model bridges theoretical knowledge and practical application, elevating both fire safety proficiency and hazard identification expertise.

5. Enhancing Real-World Emergency Preparedness

Comprehensive drills ensure operational readiness:

- Full-scale “One-Key Alarm” evacuation exercises synchronizing all departments.

- Specialized scenario simulations addressing mechanical injuries, electrical shocks, chemical leaks, and fire/explosions – developed in alignment with Hi-Tech Zone directives and tailored to site-specific risks.

These realistic rehearsals build muscle memory for coordinated crisis response, minimizing potential escalation.

Evaluation and Continuous Improvement

Post-campaign, the Safety & Environmental Department will conduct thorough evaluations by responsibility unit. Performance will be assessed, best practices shared, and outcomes integrated into long-term safety protocols. This rigorous review process transforms activity insights into enduring operational resilience, fueling Jiuding’s commitment to sustainable growth through an empowered, safety-first culture.
