Jiuding New Material Holds Specialized Emergency Rescue Skills Training

To promote first-aid knowledge and enhance emergency response capabilities, Jiuding New Material organized a specialized training session on “Out-of-Hospital CPR and AED Knowledge & Operation Skills” on the afternoon of December 10. The training was conducted by Ding Tingting, Director of the Critical Care Medicine Department at Shenzhen Jingcheng Medical Group’s Rugao Hospital, along with her medical team.

A total of 65 participants attended, including workshop managers, safety officers, and emergency response personnel from various responsibility units within the company.

With the aim of seizing the golden 4-minute rescue window to improve survival rates and save lives in emergencies, Director Ding Tingting explained in detail the emergency procedures for cardiac arrest, supported by real-life rescue cases. She highlighted key steps: first, assess the surrounding environment for safety; then, check the victim’s consciousness by tapping their shoulders and observing their breathing. If no response is detected, immediately call for emergency medical services (120). Following this, an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) should be retrieved while beginning standard CPR—opening the airway, performing chest compressions, and using the AED according to instructions—until professional medical help arrives.

The training also covered important details regarding the use of AEDs, including how to properly attach electrode pads and other operational precautions, with clear demonstrations provided by the medical team.

During the hands-on practice session, participants enthusiastically took part in simulated rescue scenarios. Under the close guidance of the instructors, they practiced the complete process—from assessing scene safety and performing chest compressions to administering rescue breaths and operating the AED. The trainers ensured every attendee could correctly master these essential lifesaving skills.

This training not only equipped employees with systematic knowledge and practical skills in emergency rescue but also significantly strengthened their ability to respond effectively to sudden incidents. Furthermore, it reflects the company’s strong commitment to prioritizing employee health and safety. Moving forward, Jiu Ding New Materials plans to continue organizing various health protection and safety skill trainings, firmly safeguarding the well-being of every staff member and fostering a safer, more caring workplace.
