Jiuding New Material, a leading composite materials manufacturer, conducted a comprehensive safety management conference to reinforce its safety protocols and enhance departmental accountability. The meeting, organized by Hu Lin, Director of Production and Operations Center, brought together all full-time and part-time safety officers to address current safety challenges and implement stricter safety measures
During the conference, Hu Lin emphasized five critical safety improvement areas that require immediate attention and action from all departments:
1.Enhanced Management of External Personnel
The company will implement a strict real-name verification system for all contractors and visitors. This includes thorough verification of identification documents and special operation certificates to prevent fraudulent practices. Additionally, all external workers must pass a mandatory safety examination before commencing any on-site operations.
2.Strengthened Supervision of High-Risk Operations
Safety supervisors must now possess the company’s internal “Safety Supervision Certificate” to qualify for monitoring duties. They are required to remain at the worksite throughout operations, continuously monitoring equipment status, safety measures, and worker behavior. Any unauthorized absence during critical operations will be strictly prohibited.
3.Comprehensive Job Transition Training
Employees undergoing role changes must complete targeted transition training programs tailored to their new positions. Only after passing the required assessments will they be permitted to assume their new responsibilities, ensuring complete preparedness for their changed work environment.
4.Implementation of Mutual Protection System
With summer temperatures rising, the company is instituting a buddy system where employees monitor each other’s physical and mental conditions. Any signs of distress or abnormal behavior must be reported immediately to prevent heat-related incidents.
5.Department-Specific Safety Guidelines Development
Each department is tasked with creating detailed safety protocols that incorporate legal requirements, industry standards, and company policies. These guidelines will clearly outline job-specific knowledge requirements, responsibility lists, safety red lines, and reward/penalty standards. The finalized documents will serve as comprehensive safety manuals for all employees and evaluation criteria for management.
Hu Lin stressed the urgency of implementing these measures, stating, “Safety is not just a policy – it’s our fundamental responsibility to every employee. These enhanced protocols must be executed thoroughly and without delay to maintain our zero-incident workplace environment.”
The conference concluded with a call to action for all safety officers to immediately begin implementing these measures across their respective departments. Jiuding New Material remains committed to its vision of creating the safest possible working environment through continuous improvement of its safety management systems.
With these new protocols in place, the company aims to further strengthen its safety culture, ensuring that safety responsibilities are clearly defined and effectively implemented at every organizational level and work process. These measures represent Jiuding New Material’ proactive approach to maintaining its industry-leading safety standards while adapting to evolving workplace challenges.
