Jiuding New Material Holds Occupational Health Training to Mark National Occupational Disease Prevention Week

April 25–May 1, 2025 — To coincide with China’s 23rd National Occupational Disease Prevention and Control Law Publicity Week, Jiuding New Material organized a specialized occupational health training session on the afternoon of April 25, 2025. The event aimed to reinforce the company’s commitment to workplace safety and employee well-being, drawing 60 participants, including department heads, workshop supervisors, safety officers, team leaders, and key staff members.

The training was led by Mr. Zhang Wei, Director of the Public Health Supervision Section at the Rugao Municipal Health Inspection Institute. With extensive expertise in occupational health regulations, Mr. Zhang delivered an in-depth session covering four critical themes: strategies for promoting the Occupational Disease Prevention and Control Law during the publicity week, best practices for implementing occupational disease prevention measures, compliance requirements for workplace environments, and methods to mitigate labor disputes related to occupational health issues.

A highlight of the event was the interactive occupational health knowledge competition, which energized participants and solidified their understanding of key concepts. Attendees actively engaged in quizzes and discussions, fostering a dynamic learning environment.

The training underscored Jiuding New Material’ proactive approach to occupational health management. By clarifying legal responsibilities and operational guidelines, it strengthened departmental leaders’ awareness of their roles in enforcing prevention protocols. Additionally, the program emphasized the importance of safeguarding employees’ physical and mental health, aligning with the company’s broader initiatives to prioritize worker wellness.

“This training not only enhanced our team’s technical knowledge but also deepened our sense of responsibility toward creating a safer, healthier workplace,” remarked a workshop supervisor. “Protecting employees from occupational hazards is integral to our corporate values.”

As part of its long-term occupational health strategy, Jiuding New Material plans to roll out regular inspections, employee health monitoring, and tailored mental health support programs. These efforts reflect the company’s dedication to elevating occupational health standards and fostering a sustainable, employee-centric work culture.

The event concluded with participants pledging to implement the lessons learned, ensuring compliance with national regulations and advancing the company’s vision of zero occupational hazards. Through such initiatives, Jiuding New Material continues to set benchmarks in industrial health and safety within the manufacturing sector.
