Jiuding New Material Conducts Special Training on Team Safety Management

On the afternoon of August 7th, Jiuding New Material invited Zhang Bin, a second-level host of Rugao Emergency Management Bureau, to carry out a special training on "Basic Essentials of Team Safety Management" for all team leaders and above. A total of 168 personnel from the company and its subsidiaries, including Shandong Jiuding, Rudong Jiuding, Gansu Jiuding, and Shanxi Jiuding, participated in this training.

In this training, Zhang Bin gave an in-depth explanation combined with accident cases around three aspects: the position of team safety management in enterprise safety management, the main problems existing in team safety management at the current stage, and the correct grasp of the key links of team safety management.

First of all, Zhang Bin emphasized that in the enterprise safety management system, the team plays a vital role. The team is the forefront of training and education, the forefront of dual-control work, the final end of hidden danger rectification, and the forefront of accident occurrence and emergency response. Therefore, it is not the main person in charge or the safety and environmental protection department that really determines the safety of an enterprise, but the team.

Secondly, team safety management mainly has the problems of inherent contradictions between safety and production management, emotional conflicts, and mismatches between "power" and "responsibility" at the current stage. Therefore, team leaders should improve their awareness of safety management, always put safety first, play a good role as a bridge between the top and the bottom, actively solve the main problems at the current stage, and improve the level of team management.

Finally, he pointed out the action path: grasp the key links of team safety management through specific measures such as team education and training, team front-line management, and team rewards and punishments. It is required that the team should strengthen the on-site 5S management, visualization, and standardized management, strengthen the role of team leaders as the backbone and leaders of the team, compact the safety management responsibilities of team leaders, and consolidate the foundation of the company's safety management from the source.
