On the afternoon of December 24, 2025, the Annual Member Conference of the Rugao High-Tech Zone Chamber of Commerce was grandly held at Jiuding New Material, the enterprise of the Chamber President. The conference aimed to comprehensively review the Chamber’s achievements over the past year and discuss plans for future development. Distinguished guests, including leaders from the Municipal United Front Work Department, the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce, various park offices of the High-Tech Zone, and Rucheng Subdistrict, gathered with representatives from over eighty member companies for this significant occasion.
The event commenced with a guided tour of the company’s product exhibition hall and production facilities, led by Chamber President Gu Roujian. Attendees gained firsthand insight into the developmental landscape of the President’s unit, setting a collaborative tone for the proceedings.
Subsequently, President Gu Roujian delivered the Chamber’s annual work report on behalf of the council. The report systematically reviewed the Chamber’s journey since its establishment, detailing the positive outcomes achieved in the past year regarding enhanced member services, diversified activities, and the promotion of external exchanges and cooperation. It also clearly outlined the Chamber’s working strategy and developmental objectives for the next phase, charting a clear course for its future development.
A highlight of the conference was the official awarding of the "Nantong Liaison Office of the High-Tech Zone Chamber of Commerce" by Xu Yinghua, Deputy Director of the Municipal United Front Work Department and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce. Furthermore, Secretary Xu and President Gu jointly unveiled the plaque for the "Party Branch Committee of the Rugao High-Tech Zone Chamber of Commerce," marking the beginning of a new chapter in the standardization and substantive operation of the Chamber’s Party building work. Instructor Zhang Ye then delivered a thematic lecture centered on the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, injecting solid ideological impetus into the Chamber’s Party building and overall development.
The conference also featured an admission ceremony for new members. Eleven enterprises from diverse sectors such as technology, culture, sports, and flower and bonsai, including Jiangsu Jiayu Huxiao Information Technology Co., Ltd. and Nantong Yifeng Information Technology Co., Ltd., officially joined the Chamber family. The new members briefly introduced their corporate specialties, showcasing a trend of diversified integration and vibrant development.
In his concluding address, Xu Yinghua fully affirmed the Chamber’s work over the past year. He noted that the Chamber has received high attention from the Party committee and government and has achieved remarkable results in organizational structure, member services, and Party building. He offered three suggestions for the Chamber’s future development: first, to consolidate ideals and beliefs by leveraging its United Front nature; second, to highlight its economic role by serving member enterprises; and third, to emphasize its civil society character by strengthening its own institutional development. He also emphasized the importance of maintaining firm development confidence under the current economic climate and expressed high expectations for the Chamber’s future, hoping it would continue to serve as a bridge and bond, facilitating the growth of member enterprises and contributing to high-quality regional economic development. Finally, he extended his best wishes for the Chamber’s continued success.
This conference was substantial in content and fruitful in outcomes, serving not only as a systematic review of past work but also as a mobilizing call for the future. Attendees unanimously expressed that they would take this conference as a new starting point, participate more actively in Chamber affairs, and work together to build the High-Tech Zone Chamber of Commerce into an even more influential benchmark organization.
