Product Description
Chopped Strand Mat is a non-woven material fabricated from E-CR glass filaments. It is composed of chopped fibers that are oriented both randomly and uniformly. The 50-millimeter-long chopped fibers are covered with a silane coupling agent and kept intact by means of an emulsion or powder binder. This mat is compatible with unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester, epoxy, and phenolic resins.

Chopped Strand Mat boasts exceptional performance characteristics. It features a uniform thickness and generates little fuzz during operation, with no impurities present. The mat is soft and easy to tear by hand, offering excellent applicability and defoaming properties. It requires low resin consumption while achieving fast wet-out and thorough wetting in resins. When used to produce large-area components, it delivers high tensile strength, and the parts manufactured with it exhibit superior mechanical properties.

Packaging
● Chopped strand mat rolls can have a diameter ranging from 28cm to 60cm.
● The roll is wrapped around a paper core, which comes with an inner diameter of either 76.2mm (equivalent to 3 inches) or 101.6mm (equal to 4 inches).
● Each roll is wrapped up in plastic bag or filmand then packed in a cardboard box.
● The rolls are stacked vertically or horizontally on the pallets .
Storage
● Unless otherwise specified, the chopped strand mats should be stored in a cool, dry, water-proof area. It is recommended that the room temperature and humidity be always at 5℃-35℃ and 35%-80% respectively.
● The unit weight of Chopped Strand Mat ranges from 70g-1000g/m2. The roll width ranges from 100mm-3200mm .
